We had Composting Demonstration in BSU.
The participants are student in BSU,
and more than 90 students were took this seminar.
First, Yokomori san talked how important is compost for farming.
And then, he demonstrated to make compost using grass
and some other local organically materials.
We need to come again here.
Because It's not enough to teach composting.
They must know composting process, piling up, fermentation, turning, and spreading.
So we will see the compost by and by to check temperature.
And depends on the temperature, we have to turn it.
...
After the training, they watched DVD about Yokomori san's farm,
and making charcoal and mokusaku.
They were surprised how wide is his farm, and also his marketing system
what he can decide his product's price
and super market comes to take his products by his farm.
He talked them to encourage to be farmer.
Farmer can earn enough money if you take care of your soil very well,
and also consider your marketing very well.
Farmer need to answer consumers request,
and should produce products what consumer like, and need.
...
Now in Philippines also has same problem, younger don't like to be farmer.
They want to go city to work to earn more money,
and don't like to work with hardness.
It will come Food crisis soon. So we must keep food production.
